Eri, a wild silk found in north east India, is an integral part of the Assamese culture is also known as âAhimsaâ silk because it is a vegan silk, i.e. , the silk worms are not killed in the process of the preparation of the yarn. Eri Silk has isothermal qualities - cool in summer and warm in winter. Perfect for sensitive skin because of its anti-fungal and anti-allergen properties.
