  • The wrap displays a heritage Jaali pattern where the sophisticated base of Pashm makes its presence known amidst elaborate vines of flowers. Thirty-Three artisans together make this Pashmina a piece to be cherished for a lifetime.

  • Plain Pashmina - a grand utterance of luxury and style is handspun deftly by Kashmiri womenfolk over a charkha, locally known as yinder, to form downy threads out of the meticulously acquired "soft gold" - Pashm fibre. The threads get spun into a stole manually over the handloom and hence introduced to the world of luxury fashion is the loved and cherished Kashmiri Pashmina stole.

  • Pashmina & Cashmere Fabric: Pashmina refers to a variant of spun cashmere, the animal-hair from the downy undercoat of the Changthangi goat. In common parlance today, pashmina may refer either to the material or to the variant of the Kashmir shawl that is made from it. Pashmina wool is sheared from the goats and sheep. Their hair is sheared in the complete process, not even their skin is harmed during the whole process. No, no animal is killed for pashmina wool. So any cruelty towards animal will directly affect several families' livelihood. Essentially, both Cashmere and Pashmina are the same thing. They both are forms of wool that are of premium quality. Many Europeans call Pashmina Cashmere after the name of the valley in which it is produced, ie Kashmir.

  • Pashmina Care: In general, dry cleaning is the preferred method of washing for pashmina and cashmere care. Then, wash very gently by hand while being very careful with the hand-tied tassels if you are washing a pashmina accessory. After washing, please do not wring dry. Instead, lay it as at as possible.
