Handmade Products In South Eastasia Of State Tripura

Hand loom products, culture, heritage is rich in many indigenous society. For a long period of time hand-loom weaving is an important craft. It not only gives the identification of particular tribe but also signifies the rich heritage and culture along with sustainability.
Sustainable approaches and practices that are aimed to preserve particular resources while not harming the ecosystem and instead give long-term outcomes. These are still in use by indigenous society. However, with the modernization, these practices are viewed as a cultural heritage that holds and maintains identity and history. Two instances will be illustrated from the state of Tripura, namely Chakma and Tripuri, of the ways and tactics used by these indigenous groups for their living. TRIPUPURA.

Everyone is well aware of the environmental pollution and destruction caused by plastic. It has been more than decades of constant social awareness campaigns and inclusion in educational curriculums of “Plastic pollutes the environment”. Although a significant part of society is consciously taking steps to do something about the situation and creating a direct or indirect impact on the environment, most of those people are also unaware of all the forms of plastics to avoid. Fairly educated and consciously part of the population across the globe is unconscious sometimes even without a choice are surrounded by what are called ‘microplastics’. And these are far more dangerous than what the eye perceives. It's the iceberg that penetrated deep into the environment without knowledge or sight of the whole picture.
